API Use Case
Swagger API v3.0
1. Filter Relation by Semantic
The Scholixplorer APIs offer the ability to filter relationships by their semantics, using the relation parameter. This allows for finer control over the results obtained.
It is important to note that all relationships are stored on the "active side" of the verb.
For instance, the "Cites" relationship is recorded as "A cites B," and not as "B IsCitedBy A."
To retrieve inverse relationships, those not represented by the active voice of the verb, the relation parameter alone is insufficient. The targetPid parameter must also be utilized in conjunction with relation.

2. Retrieve All Relations for a Persistent Identifier (PID)
This use case allows you to retrieve all connections associated with a specific research object identified by its PID. For example, you can find all datasets, software, and other research products related to a specific publication. As described in the query parameters section , you can specify the PID on either the source or target side of the relationships. Here are two examples to filter by each side of the relation:
