The fos filter accepts one of the Field of Science classification labels listed below.

Values are stored in the index with their OECD code prefix (e.g. 01 natural sciences, 0509 other social sciences). Both forms are accepted and return identical results — fos="natural sciences" and fos="01 natural sciences" are equivalent. The codeless labels are listed here for readability; you may see the numbered form in responses and in other examples.
